AdPlus Chemicals and Polymers Private Limited (AdPlus) is a step-down subsidiary of Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd. and wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Performance Materials Private Limited (AdPerMa). It has been formed to set up and/or invest into setting up and/or acquire existing specialty chemicals and/or advanced polymers businesses.

AdPlus has set-up and commissioned a state-of-the-art facility in 2024 to produce high quality Refined LMW Polyethylene (Refined PE Wax) having widespread applications as dispersion aid in colour concentrates and masterbatches and in paint and coatings, asphalt and bitumen modification, printing ink, flow modifiers, Hot Melt Adhesives, Cosmetics etc. Commercial production has started, and product has been well received in the market.

AdPlus is also setting up India’s first on-purpose Propylene Plant based on Olefin Conversion Technology (OCT) and the country’s largest Phenol facility, making it India’s first fully integrated player in the phenolics chain. The complex is expected to be operational in the first half of 2026. The integrated Phenol complex will have a production capacity of 400 KTPA of Phenol and 248 KTPA of Acetone.

Mr. Narayan is a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences from Northwestern University, Illinois and a Postgraduate in Business Management & Marketing from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Mr. Narayan was the Non-Executive Director / Group Chief Executive Officer of Lyca Group, UK / Lycamobile UK Ltd, wherein he, inter alia, managed a diverse global business across 25 countries including in Europe, US, Australia, Africa, and Asia with mobile operations in 23 countries with a team of 650+.

Mr. Narayan has more than three decades of leadership and technology delivery experience across Global operations, Business Management, Operations, Strategy and Business Development etc. Mr. Narayan has been associated, in various capacities, with leading corporates like Vodafone Idea Limited, Nokia, Wipro BPO, Tata Steel Limited etc.

Mr. Partha Sarathi Bhattacharya

Mr. Bhattacharyya is the former chairman of Coal India Ltd. During Mr. Bhattacharyya’s tenure at Coal India Ltd., the Company was awarded Miniratna status in 2007, Navratna status in 2008 and Maharatna status in 2011. In 2010, Mr. Bhattacharyya spearheaded the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Coal India Ltd. Mr. Bhattacharyya has 35 years of experience in the coal and petrochemical industries.

Mr. Ashok Kumar Ghosh

Mr. Ghosh holds a B. Tech (Chemical) from Ranchi University and a post-graduate diploma from Birsa Institute of Technology, Sindri and has over 41 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, having worked at Krishak Bharati Cooperative Ltd. and HFC Ltd.

Mr. Rabin Mukhopadhyay

Mr. Mukhopadhyay holds a B.E. (Chem) from Jadavpur University and a post-graduate diploma in Computer Applications from NEETI Delhi.

Mr. Mukhopadhyay has over 42 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, having worked as Head of Technical with TCG Refineries Ltd. and with Indian Oil Corporation. Mr. Mukhopadhyay has been with the Company since 2003.
